  • Montague Harbour Provincial Park: Montague Harbour Provincial Park covers over 95 hectares of picturesque marine landscapes including the unique, reflective white shelled beaches, the open far reaching grassy knolls, the looming forests, the rocky clefts and many tidal pools.   • South Gulf Islands: The area is well recognized by international kayakers as one of the prime areas for kayaking adventures and exploring. There are many little and big islands clustered together creating ideal bays, inlets and coves for kayakers wishing to explore a vibrant marine eco-system.   • Gulf Islands National Park: The Gulf Islands National Park stretches out over a total area of 33 square kilometres including a 25 metre intertidal zone! The park wonders in and out of 16 islands and is Canada's 5th smallest park. The Gulf Islands National Park is next to some populated islands and includes a busy waterway used by ongoing marine transportation vessels thus making the Gulf Islands National Park one of the most urbanized of parks because it is next to civilization.

  • Bluff Park. A short walk mainly a drive in. Picturesque ocean views of the channel. Access from Bluff Drive and watch the ferry do it's magic sailing through the pass.

  • Bodega Ridge. Just over 3 km of an easier grade hike above the islands and looking down onto Salt Spring Island. Home of the Lovers' Leap View Point. Access from north end of island off of Porlier Pass Rd.

  • Cain Bay. A viewing beach and a swimming beach. It is not neither nor, but both.

  • Dionisio Point Provincial Park. A unique 141-acre park only discovered by you if you book a boat. It includes lush mature island forests, views of the points, sandy beaches to die for and tiny coves. Good swimming and hiking. Big rush this park!

  • Georgeson Bay. Pack the swimming trunks and a snorkel, some fins and a camera. This is swimming, beach country. Off of Access Pass Drive south island.

  • Lovers' Leap View Point. Romantic views of Wallace Island and the ocean channel from the top of Bodega Ridge.
    Access off of Porlier Pass Rd.

  • Matthews Point Park. Some hiking trails with views and trees. Access off of Bluff Rd.

  • Mount Galiano. Network of trails. Views at the end of 1 hr. sweat climb of a hike. Access from Active Pass drive onto Phillimore Point Road.

  • Pebble Beach Trail. Short trail down to a sandy beach and some wonderful island scenery. Access from McCoskrie Road.

  • Retreat Cove. Swim in the blue ocean waters in this aptly named cove. Access from Retreat Cove Rd.

  • Spotlight Cove. A great little beach access trail for a short stretch of the legs and some majestic marine ocean views. Porlier Pass Road north island.
