Dinner Park is a playground and picnic park with large grass lawns, access to a a swimming beach, a picnic shelter, flush toilets, a baseball diamond and a boat launch (small boats only). Today the gardens include flora and fauna of all types and is maintained by a group of island locals. The gardens include some walking paths. The walkways are lined with sitting benches and lead to a small shelter, a waterfall, statues and a pond. Keeping with Japanese tradition the gardens are decorated with bamboo and stone.
