- Gulf Islands National Park: The Gulf Islands National Park stretches out over a total area of 33 square kilometres including a 25 metre intertidal zone! The park wonders in and out of 16 islands and is Canada's 5th smallest park. The Gulf Islands National Park is next to some populated islands and includes a busy waterway used by ongoing marine transportation vessels thus making the Gulf Islands National Park one of the most urbanized of parks because it is next to civilization.

- South Gulf Islands: The area is well recognized by international kayakers as one of the prime areas for kayaking adventures and exploring. There are many little and big islands clustered together creating ideal bays, inlets and coves for kayakers wishing to explore a vibrant marine eco-system. The calmer channels, safe tidal conditions and large canyon sandstone cliffs serve up ideal conditions for beginner kayakers. [ more information about the south Gulf Islands ... ]
- Georgina Point Heritage Park and Lighthouse: The Mayne Island Lighthouse is situated on the point with spanning ocean views overlooking Galiano Island. The Georgina Point Heritage Park and Lighthouse is very well kept with a short walking path to the coastline. The is a sitting area with a picnic table at this Mayne Island park. Georgina Point Heritage Park and Lighthouse is accessed at the end of Georgina Point Road.
- Bennet Bay: The sitting and viewing areas at Bennet Bay is best enjoyed after a short walk to Campbell Point. Bennet Bay is best visited at low tides revealing the tidal pools and the rock underbelly of the ocean. At Bennet Bay there is driftwood logs on shore and sailboats are mostly always in view in the distance. Bennet Bay has beach access and is best accessed from the end of Isabella Lane or at the end of Bennett Bay Road.
- Beechwood Trail: Mayne Island has a few good trails like the Beechwood Trail. The trail is a short walk to a secluded bay with views of the islands and the Pacific Ocean. At the end of the Beechwood Trail sometimes luck will be on your side and maybe you will see whales. The Beechwood Trail is located at the foot of Beechwood Drive.
- Piggot Bay: Mayne Island beaches can be accessed at Piggot Bay. The area of Piggot Bay is often used for swimming the Pacific Ocean and a popular spot for launching kayaks. Piggot Bay is accessed at the end of Piggot Bay Road.

Gallagher Bay: Another mayne Island hiking trail with ocean views is at Gallagher Bay. The shoreline at Gallagher Bay reveals views of the open seas and the nearby islands offshore. The Gallagher Bay trail is access from Navy Channel Road.

Dinner Bay Park: More of a family park on Mayne Island is Dinner Bay Park. at the park is some walking trails to the shoreline plus Dinner Bay Park has a children’s play park with swings, jungle gym and an open field. Dinner Bay Park is accessed from Dinner Bay Road.
