• South Gulf Islands: The area is well recognized by international kayakers as one of the prime areas for kayaking adventures and exploring. There are many little and big islands clustered together creating ideal bays, inlets and coves for kayakers wishing to explore a vibrant marine eco-system. • Mission Road Community Trail. This Thetis Island trail is an an easy grade hike up through the centre of the island. The Mission Road Community Trail is used mainly by walkers and bikers. Mission Road Community Trail is accessed from the Fire Hall to Meadow Valley.
  

• Pilkey Point. The point is a popular marine activity watching area. Pilkey Point has some great views of the Ragged Islets and there is a picnic area. Pilkey Point is located on the northeast tip of Thetis Island.
  
  

• Wallace Island. The biggest park in the area of Thetis Island is the Wallace Island Provincial Marine Park. The 72-hectare provincial marine park is found out on the Trincomali Channel nestled in between Galiano and Salt Spring Island. Wallace Island Provincial Marine Park is great destination for hiking, walking and camping. Wallace Island Provincial Marine Park is accessed by boat only.
  
  

• West Coast Trail Hiking. On the west side of Thetis Island are some walking trails and beach access points that lead you down to the coastline.
